For over 40 years, Harry Haskins has maintained a well-known reputation as a civil and commercial trial attorney, achieving Double Board Certification by The Florida Bar in Business Litigation and Civil Trial Law and is admitted to practice in Florida and Iowa. 15 year ago, a division to the Law Office of Harry W. Haskins, P.A. was added offering his clients the best representation for real estate closings. The success of those two entities led Harry to obtain his real estate license in 2025 to further service his clients in order to negotiate and represent fairness and knowledge to the real estate transaction.
Harry is a native of Des Moines Iowa, where he first practiced law for 9 years. Since 1978 he has been a business and community leader in Sarasota. Harry, or best known as "Hap" maintains his midwestern affiliation through the University of Iowa where he was a student-athlete and received his undergraduate degree in economics as well as Doctor of Jurisprudence from Drake University.
Harry lives on Siesta Key with his wife, Barbara, and their Golden Retriever, Hawkeye. He is a proud father of 2 and an even prouder grandfather of 7!
